Ferrandus

Ferrandus, Diac. (31. Mai). Dieser Heilige war Diakon an der Kirche zu Carthagena und ob seiner Gelehrsamkeit berühmt. Seine Werke hat im J. 1649 Petrus Franciscus Chifletius, aus der Gesellschaft Jesu, heurausgegeben, und hat ihn Fulgentius Ferrandus genannt. Für seine kirchliche Verehrung und für die Behauptung, er sei Bischof von Carthagena und hernach von Toledo gewesen, vermögen die Bollandisten gewichtige Zeugnisse nicht beizubringen. (VI. 767.)
